Sketch a Pose - Asana Art

A sketch artist was sketching portraits of yogis in their favorite poses at the Yogaworks booth in the strolling section of the Tadasana Festival. I chose tree pose because it is a standing asana and the artist had been kneeling for hours sketching yogis doing advanced arm balances. He was excited to stand up to capture this sketch. Not to mention, tree pose one of my favorite asanas because it keeps you rooted in the earth while you reach up to the sky.

Almost done, just stay rooted for a little longer! Mind over matter.

Beautiful art in less than five minutes.

Thank you Asana Art!

Asana Art was created by the Lustigs, a husband and wife team who drove across the country from the midwest to California years ago. Mr. Lustig got his start at Yogaworks in Huntington Beach where he would sketch during classes and when the yogis realized his talent the rest is history! He combined his passion with his work and the world is privileged to enjoy it.
